Mountain Movers (Youth)

We are welcoming all youth to come and join us in growing in Christ.  Please come check out what Rustburg Baptist Church has to offer in spiritual development of our youth as they transition from middle school to high school and from high school into young adult.  They meet every Wednesday night at 5:30 for a lesson and fun interaction.

Sunday School Classes

Rustburg Baptist Church offers a variety of Sunday school classes starting at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings.   We have several children and adult classes to choose from so we invite you to come and check them out.  With the options to choose from we are sure you will find the class that fits your needs.
As Rustburg Baptist Church continues to grow, we hope to have more classes available to meet the needs of all who come and wish to learn and grow in their faith and their knowledge.  Each class is focusing on their personal relationship with Jesus Christ and learning how to help each other achieve that goal.

Red Truck Ministry

Rustburg Baptist Church is a proud member and contributor of The Red Truck Ministry. This is a ministry  that seeks to provide healthy food for those in need and provide the spiritual food of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This ministry focuses on areas that are identified as food deserts. We provide fresh fruits and vegetables, when in season. Canned fruits, vegetables, local grass fed beef, canned tuna, baby food, peanut butter and other assorted canned goods. As a contributor of The Red Truck Ministry, Rustburg Baptist is assigned to donate peanut butter, however, any and all donations are welcome. We are looking for volunteers that are willing to serve on the days that The Red Truck Ministry sets up in different areas. You may go to www.redtruckministry.org to inquire about days and times you can be of service.

Operation Christmas Child

Our church is proud to be a drop off center for the Campbell County area for Operation Christmas Child (OCC). Each year we volunteer to collect shoeboxes for this amazing ministry and then we box them and drop them off to the Lynchburg collection center. This is always a big event and we enjoy every moment of it. There isn't a better way to warm your heart at this important time of year than to know you are giving something to a child who may not have ever known Jesus Christ without this shoebox of goodies. Please feel free to learn more about OCC by visiting the website below. If you are moved by what you learn we are always happy to have volunteers sign up at our church to help out during collection times. www.samaritanspurse.org/occ

Pathfinders (Children)

During our regular worship time on Sunday mornings our children gather together for Children's Church.   They have a bible lesson to learn about being a child of God and create crafts that support the lesson they have learned.

On Wednesday nights they meet at 5:30 in our fellowship hall to have a lesson and play fun games.  They also venture out sometimes to activities outside the church.

Uplifted Youth
Music Ministry

At Rustburg Baptist Church, our primary mission is to glorify Jesus Christ in everything we do.  The mission of the music ministry is to provide spirit led, heartfelt worship that helps to fulfill the overall mission of bringing glory to Jesus.  No matter where you are in your spiritual walk, our hope is that you feel moved and inspired to dig deeper.  RBC offers a variety of music, ranging from traditional hymns to contemporary worship.  We encourage our youth and small children to participate frequently in songs, as well as short skits and dramas.
Come join us!  If you play an instrument or enjoy singing, we would love to hear from you.
"Serve the Lord with gladness; come before his presence with singing" Psalm 100:2

Brotherhood Firewood Ministry

The Brotherhood Firewood Ministry is a great ministry at Rustburg Baptist.  This ministry meets once a month to split and stack wood that is given to those in our community that are in need of wood to heat their homes during those cold winter months. The woodmen's ministry is accepting donations of trees or other wood materials that are safe to heat homes.  Please contact John Wallisky at 434-332-5381 to find out how you can donate or help in this important community service. Mission Trips

Each year  Rustburg Baptist Church coordinates several mission trips with other churches in the area to travel to places in need of help.  We join with others from a variety of denominations to share the love of Christ with those in need, repairing homes, building handicap ramps, ministering in nursing homes or other ministries.  Recent places we have visited are Nickelsville, VA and New Bern, NC.
